Tamper evident design offers some great benefits to both the food manufacturers and the bulk food packers. They are very simple to use, either allied automatically or manually, and have the functions to be re-closed by the consumers once opened. The closure is liquid tight whilst the tamper evident rim edge protects the lid from being accidentally removed during transit. The PP material does offer the ability to hot fill, deep freeze and microwave within limitations.

The design also helps with food bio-terrorism. In an incidence where the product is accidentally affected or is the result of a malicious act, tamper-evident packaging will alert a consumer that your product may have been altered in some way. When a customer can clearly see that your product is no longer in its original state they can choose another package and avoid contamination. This helps you avoid unhappy customers and lost sales.
