What is In-Mould Labelling?
In-Mould labelling (IML) is a process in which manufacturers place a pre-printed polypropylene(PP) label in a robotic system which will be automatically inserted inside the injection mould during the manufacturing process. The hot plastic raw material is then formed with the buckets/tubs along with the In-mould labels. Hence, Packaging and the labelling becomes a single piece.
